12‑Month Warranty Policy

Effective from date of delivery. Covers all products sold by YR Automation.

YR Automation warrants that each product we ship will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the delivery date. If a defect arises during this period, we will, at our option: (a) replace the product with the same or equivalent item, or (b) refund the purchase price.

What this warranty covers

This warranty applies to all new, surplus, and used automation components supplied by YR Automation, including but not limited to PLCs, drives, controllers, HMIs, sensors, and power supplies. The warranty is provided by YR Automation, not by the original manufacturer.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation, use not in accordance with manufacturer specifications, accident, or neglect.
  • Products that have been modified, repaired, or altered by anyone other than YR Automation.
  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to batteries, fuses, bulbs, and consumables.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not impair functionality.
  • Products sold "as‑is" or explicitly marked as non‑warranted.

Note on independent supply: YR Automation is not an authorized distributor of the brands we carry. Warranty claims are handled directly by us, not by the original manufacturer. We do not offer manufacturer‑backed warranties, only our own 12‑month guarantee. This allows us to supply a wide range of products, including discontinued models, while still providing coverage.

How to make a claim

Contact us

Email dalianmao222@outlook.com with your order number, the part number, and a description of the issue. Include photographs if they help illustrate the problem.

Review

We will respond within 2 business days. We may ask for additional information or request that you return the item for inspection. If a return is required, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Return (if applicable)

Ship the item to us with the RMA clearly marked. You are responsible for shipping costs to our facility. We recommend using a trackable method, as we cannot be responsible for lost packages.

Resolution

Upon receipt and inspection, we will notify you of our decision. If the claim is approved, we will ship a replacement (at our cost) or process a refund. If the claim is denied, we will return the item to you at your expense.

Shipping costs for warranty claims

If the claim is approved, YR Automation will pay return shipping for the replacement item. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item to us for inspection. For claims where the item is found defective, we will also reimburse the original outbound shipping cost (if any) as part of the resolution.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YR Automation's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, downtime, or damage to other equipment.
