The Extech 407119 heavy duty hot wire thermo-anemometer is engineered for accurate low-velocity measurements in HVAC ducts, ventilation systems, and industrial exhaust applications. With the ability to measure air velocity as low as 40 ft/min, it excels in scenarios where other instruments fall short.

The telescoping probe extends up to 3 feet (940 mm) to reach deep into ducts and vents, while the 5.5-foot cable provides flexible positioning. Air volume can be displayed in CFM or CMM, with the choice of instantaneous readings or up to 20-point averaging for accurate traverses across large ducts. Temperature is displayed simultaneously on the super large 1.4-inch LCD.

Additional features include Min/Max recall for trend analysis, Data Hold, and auto power off to conserve battery life. A built-in RS-232 interface allows connection to a PC for data logging and analysis using optional software and cable.

The 407119 ships complete with the telescoping probe, cable, and four AA batteries.
