The FloCat ACS-W cast iron turbine meter is designed for accurate, economical reading of medium-to-high flow rates with minimal pressure loss. The horizontal Woltman-type water meter's rugged cast iron meter body is epoxy-coated inside and outside. The turbine drives a vertical impeller in direct proportion to the water flow. The impeller is magnetically coupled to the register, which contains a removable dry contact reed switch pulse output and does not require power. The ACS-W meter conforms to the ISO 4064 Class B Standard.

Maximum temperature is 105°F (40°C) with maximum pressure of 232psi. Materials include cast iron body (epoxy coated), engineered thermoplastic internals with tungsten shaft, and Alnico drive magnet. Accuracy is ±2% of reading.

The optional reed switch sensor provides a dry contact output with 20mA maximum current, 24Vdc or Vac maximum voltage, and comes with 12ft (4m) standard cable (max run 2000ft).
