The Alicat Scientific L Series liquid flow meter measures differential pressure within a laminar flow region to determine volumetric flow rate. This proven method allows the L series to achieve substantial turndown, accuracy, and linearity across a wide flow range, making it a cost effective solution for numerous liquid flow applications.

The L Series features flow ranges from 0.5 cubic centimeters to 10 liters per minute full-scale with 50:1 turndown. Basic accuracy is ±2% FS with repeatability of ±0.5% FS. The digital display shows process conditions including liquid temperature and pressure in addition to flow rate, allowing the meter to function as three measurement devices in one.

The LC Series liquid flow controller utilizes a proportional valve coupled to a flow meter body to create a unique closed-loop flow controller system for ranges from 5 to 500 cubic centimeters/minute. An integral PID controller positions the valve according to flow set points. These devices accept selectable analog or digital control signals from external devices or locally. The dynamic digital display simultaneously shows all measured parameters with a push button operator interface for selecting display parameters, making set point and control adjustments, or taring the meter.

Both L and LC Series instruments are compact and, when combined with the battery pack accessory, completely portable for use in remote systems without available power or as calibration devices for field verification of embedded meters. A variety of connection, alarm, and output options are available.
