Product Description

The CAS PUR-X 2000 is a replaceable tube circulation heater designed for contamination-free heating of liquids and gases in high-purity applications. The innovative design keeps the heated medium completely separate from the heater sheath, with fluid isolated in field-replaceable PFA tubing .

The heater delivers 5.0 to 7.9kW of power with a maximum operating temperature of 200°C (392°F) and pressure rating of 70 psi (480 kPa). The 15.8 feet of 3/8" O.D. PFA tubing is available in standard or high-purity grades and can be easily replaced in the field without special tools .

The robust cast-in aluminum construction is free from welds that could potentially fail, ensuring long life and low maintenance. The Teflon-coated stainless steel body provides easy cleaning, and the self-draining construction reduces material degradation caused by trapped process fluids .

The explosion-resistant NEMA 7 electrical enclosure provides safety in hazardous areas. Two J or K type thermocouples are included for process control and high-limit protection .

Typical applications include semiconductor solvent heating, high-purity liquid heating, wafer cleaning equipment, and photoresist removal processes .
