The Rosemount 4x5 Thrust Type Power Positioners are swivel mounted damper drives with control signals up to 27 psig. Available signal options include 0-20 psig, 3-15 psig, and 3-27 psig. Accuracy is ±1% of full scale.

Stall thrust is 1200 lbs (545 kg) with maximum friction load of 300 lbs (136 kg) and minimum weight load of 400 lbs (136 kg). Full stroke time is 2 seconds or less. Temperature operating range is 0 to 170°F (-17.8 to 77°C).

The positioner features a dust cover, internal heater, power air supply, and internal air locking system. Fast response to small input signal changes is achieved through high internal gain. Maintenance is simplified by the frame construction design.
