The Rosemount 1208C Level and Flow Transmitter has been specifically designed for applications in water and wastewater, utilities, and simple level applications. The radar uses continuous non-contacting technology and has a G 1.5" or NPT 1.5" threaded connection, 4-20 mA (3-wire), and switch communication protocols. Bluetooth-enabled configuration available. Expansive process connections for high adaptability, with optional cable assemblies up to 50m in length.

The Rosemount 1208C delivers accurate and reliable level measurement and open channel flow calculations in a compact and submersible PVDF housing with Drinking Water, FDA, EC 1935/2004 certifications. Zone 2 hazardous area certification available. The 80GHz Fast Sweep FMCW technology provides a more focused beam angle to avoid and optimize the handling of internal obstructions.

Specifications include 4-20mA HART output, -40 to 176°F process temperature, 15 to 43.5psig process pressure, maximum measuring range 49ft (dielectric constant dependent), and maximum level rate of 200mm/s. The compact and robust design withstands harsh environments and is suitable for outdoor conditions and submersion. The Rosemount 1208C can also be connected to a controller, such as the Rosemount 3490 Series.
