Product Description

The Optris CTvideo 3M infrared temperature sensor uses both video and laser crosshair sighting to align sensors for accurate low-temperature measurements of metal or ceramic surfaces as small as 0.02 inches. Its short measuring wavelength of 2.3µm reduces errors when measuring surfaces with low or unknown emissivity. The sensor has temperature ranges from 122 to 3272°F and can be used in temperatures up to 158°F without additional cooling .

Optical resolutions are available from 60:1 to 300:1 depending on the specific model. The sensor features a 1ms response time and emissivity adjustable from 0.1 to 1.1 .

The CTvideo 3M features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Field selectable analog output options include 0/4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, type K or J thermocouples, and alarm. Optional USB 2.0 and Ethernet outputs are available .

The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download. The sensor operates on 8-36 VDC power supply with 160mA max current draw and is IP65 NEMA-4 rated .
