The CAS CAST-X 4000 circulation heater delivers high flow volume and electrical power in a compact unit, available in single or double tube versions for maximum flexibility and efficiency. The media being heated never comes into direct contact with the heating elements, reducing the risk of fluid contamination .

Power range is 12.5 kW to 60 kW with process temperatures up to 662°F (350°C) depending on enclosure selection, and maximum pressure of 2450 psi (169 bar). The dual tubes can be configured in series or parallel for optimized flow arrangements .

The compact size is achieved through cast-in construction, with heating elements completely embedded in aluminum. This creates a thermal flywheel that efficiently transfers heat to the heavy wall 316L stainless steel tubing which is also cast-in, delivering maximum power and capacity in a small footprint .

Since the heated material never contacts the heating elements, the CAST-X 4000 is ideal for indirect heating applications where contamination and fluid cleanliness are critical. The design outlasts and outperforms typical immersion heaters with very low maintenance requirements, minimizing downtime and overall cost of ownership .

Features include robust cast-in aluminum construction for longer heater life, non-welded construction to minimize leakage, integrated thermostat and enclosure, self-draining design to reduce material degradation, and NEMA 4 or NEMA 7/ATEX housing options for various environmental requirements. K or J type thermocouples are standard, with RTD available as an option .
