The E+H Proline Promag W 500 electromagnetic flow meter measures volume flow, conductivity, and mass flow. It features certified corrosion protection (EN ISO 12944) for underground or permanent underwater installation, making it ideal for water, wastewater, and custody transfer industries.

The bidirectional measuring principle is independent of pressure, density, temperature, and viscosity. With no moving parts, it is maintenance-free and suffers no pressure loss due to cross-section constriction.

The transmitter offers full access to process and diagnostic information via numerous freely combinable I/Os and fieldbuses. Up to three analog or digital outputs are available. Digital communication options include HART, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Modbus RS485, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPC-UA.

The meter carries drinking water approvals including ACS, KTW/W270, NSF 61, and WRAS BS 6920. Standard enclosure is IP66/67, Type 4X; IP68, Type 6P is optional for remote sensors, including protective varnish per EN ISO 12944 C5-M/Im1/Im2/Im3. Optional Heartbeat Technology ensures compliance and process safety.
