The Extech EX470A combines a True RMS digital multimeter with an infrared thermometer, making it ideal for HVAC and plant maintenance. The IR thermometer measures surface temperature from -4 to 518°F without contact, with an 8:1 distance-to-target ratio and fixed 0.95 emissivity.

Multimeter functions include AC/DC voltage to 600V, AC/DC current to 10A, resistance to 40MΩ, continuity, and diode test. A Type K thermometer input enables contact or air temperature measurements from -4 to 1832°F. Advanced functions include capacitance, frequency, and duty cycle.
