The Rosemount 8712 flow transmitter is a remote mount solution for Rosemount magnetic flow meter systems. It features an easy-to-use operator interface, with quick access to all diagnostic information, and instant access to basic configuration setup through dedicated keys. A local operator interface is available.

The Rosemount 8712 is compatible with the Rosemount 8705, 8711, 8721 and 570TM flowtube sensors and is compatible with AC and DC powered flowtube sensors of other manufacturers. Accuracy is 0.25% standard with 0.15% High Accuracy option available. The dedicated 15 button local operator interface (LOI) provides intuitive configuration.

The transmitter supports remote mounting and accepts global AC or DC power supplies. The 8712E model is compatible with all Rosemount sensors and other manufacturers, while the 8712H model is specifically compatible with the 8707 High-signal sensor .
