Product Description

The COSA Xentaur LPDT2 is an ultra-compact, loop-powered dew point transmitter that builds upon its predecessor's design, offering enhanced control and accuracy for industrial moisture measurements. Its key advancement is a thin-film capacitive polymer sensor, which is highly resistant to contamination from oils, fuels, and other interfering substances, ensuring stable and reliable performance with a long lifespan and low maintenance requirements.

The LPDT2 is available in two versions to suit different application needs and budgets. One version features a miniature custom LCD display and four push buttons, allowing users to view, select, and set options directly at the transmitter. The other version, without a display, offers the same measurement reliability in a more economical package. Both versions provide both analog (4-20mA) and digital (MODBUS 485) outputs, simplifying integration into control systems.

With a choice of sensor ranges covering either -65 to 20°C or -100 to 20°C dew point, housed in a NEMA 4 IP66 enclosure, and with an optional Class 1 Div 2 / Zone 2 hazardous area rating, the LPDT2 is a versatile and robust solution for applications ranging from glove boxes and air dryers to natural gas transmission and hydrocarbon processing.
