The APG IRU-9400 Level Sensor is an ultrasonic level sensor with a more sensitive transducer to detect difficult targets such as non-reflective and/or soft surfaces. With the more sensitive transducer and superior range, the IRU-9400 is well suited for object detection applications. The sensor is not sealed for harsh environments and is recommended for use indoors and away from dust.

The IRU-9400 series provides a versatile range from 6 inches to 35 feet with a basic accuracy of ±0.25% of detected range. The sensors are designed for a variety of applications, and therefore have ample programming options to accommodate many needs. Output options include: 4-20mA, 4-20 mA plus 2 NPN relay outputs, selectable 0-2.5 V/0-5V, and selectable 0-2.5 V/0-5V with RS-232.
