Product Description

The Rosemount Model 372 is an easy‑to‑install combination sensor enabling pH measurement of solutions containing hydrofluoric acid (HF). New glass formulation slows HF attack considerably, making measurements in up to 1% (10,000 ppm) HF cost‑effective. Sensor lifetime varies with temperature, pH, and HF exposure, but lasts much longer than conventional glass electrodes.

Cross‑linked polymer reference system resists heat, solvents, acids, and most other chemicals. Reference holds excess KCl, assuring saturation at all temperatures and extending in‑situ sensor life. Fluoride and Acid Resistant pH Glass formulation reduces buildup of fluoride precipitates, minimizing cleaning and calibration requirements. Glass composition reduces HF attack by more than a factor of ten.

Recommended applications: wastewater containing fluoride or HF, etching solutions, water quality devices requiring long service life at remote locations. Insertion depths 2.2″ to 8.3″. Materials: Ultem, Viton, glass, Kynar.
