The Fluke PVA-1500 Series PV Analyzer I-V Curve Tracer is designed to measure PV system performance with high precision, enabling solar professionals to reliably assess the health and performance of solar modules and arrays. With comprehensive data analysis and reporting features, users can make informed decisions to enhance output and longevity .

The PVA-1500 offers high throughput I-V curve tracing with up to 400 sweeps per hour and sweep-to-sweep delays as low as nine seconds. It measures and displays I-V curves up to 1500V and 30A, with selectable 100 or 500 I-V trace points. The analyzer includes an advanced built-in PV model with a database of more than 70,000 modules that provides immediate PV performance checking by comparing measured curves to expected performance .

The SolSensor wireless PV reference sensor provides irradiance, module temperature, and array tilt data to the PV model with ±2% irradiance accuracy and ±2°C cell temperature accuracy. The sensor clamps to the module frame, automatically orienting to the plane-of-array, and communicates wirelessly with the user's tablet or laptop via WiFi with a range of 330 feet .

The PVA-1500 is designed for high-efficiency modules (>19% efficiency) which possess high capacitance that challenges some curve tracers. It operates reliably even in high-temperature environments where standard curve tracers often fail due to overheating. The included Solmetric PV Analyzer Software and Data Analysis Tool (DAT) provide insights, visualizations, and customizable reports for commissioning, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PV arrays .
