The Rosemount 3051SFP ProPlate differential pressure flow meter provides a complete volumetric flow measurement solution by incorporating the Rosemount 3051S pressure transmitter with a Rosemount ProPlate primary element. This integrated design produces a reliable, cost-effective flow measuring device that performs extraordinarily well in a variety of applications.

The 3051SFP is highly effective in liquid flows and provides a cost-effective solution for uncompensated gas and steam flows. Reliability is improved by eliminating impulse lines, reducing the possibility of plugging or freezing. The special flange body and bolting design ensures the ProPlate flow meter is centered in the pipe, practically eliminating misalignment errors common with traditional orifice plate technology in small line sizes.

The 3051S multivariable transmitter enables pressure, temperature, and fully compensated mass and energy flow measurements with 10-year 'set and forget' electronics. It is fully scalable with user-customizable performance, functionality, diagnostics, and connection systems. Advanced software includes 4-20mA HART or FOUNDATION fieldbus communication, user configured flow units, low flow cut-off, and process alerts.

ProPlate primary elements are manufactured to meet AGA, ASME, ISO and DIN standards. Available elements include the 1195 integral orifice plate (1/2-1-1/2"), 1595 conditioning orifice plate (2-24"), 1495 orifice plate approved for custody transfer by AGA and API (2-24"), 1496 flange union (2-24"), and 1497 meter section with upstream/downstream piping (2-24").
