The KEP Squirt-R is a loop-powered indicator specifically designed for use with 4-20 mA transmitters, offering the added capability of square root extraction. This makes it an ideal choice for flow indication when used with differential pressure transmitters, as it can linearize the signal directly. It can also handle standard linear 4-20 mA inputs.

The Squirt-R features a user-selectable 3-1/2 or 4-1/2 digit display, allowing the user to balance readability and resolution as needed. Programming is simple and intuitive via the front keypad, with easy-to-read menu prompts that guide the user through configuration. All calibration and range values are fully programmable through the keypad, eliminating the need for internal dip switches or potentiometers.

The instrument utilizes high-resolution 16-bit A/D conversion for accurate signal measurement. Numeric password protection secures the menu from unauthorized access. The Squirt-R is powered entirely by the 4-20 mA loop, requiring no external power source, which simplifies wiring and reduces installation costs. Its front panel is rated NEMA 4X / IP65, making it suitable for harsh and washdown environments.
