Product Description
The Ashcroft 1327D is a field-portable hydraulic pressure generation and test system designed for calibration applications requiring quick comparison to a master gauge. It combines a reliable two-stage pressure pump with Ashcroft Type 1082 test gauges as comparison masters, offering maximum utility in a compact, complete test set.
The two-stage hydraulic pump features a built-in shuttle valve for rapid pressure generation on either end of the spectrum, with an integral vernier adjustment knob for precise final pressure setting. The system accommodates one to four 4.5-inch temperature-compensated test gauges with ±0.25% of span accuracy, meeting ASME B40.1 Grade 3A requirements. Gauge configurations range from single-range 150 psi units up to four gauges covering 0-10,000 psi, with equivalent metric ranges available in kg/cm², bar, and kPa.
Multiple fluid versions accommodate different applications: standard 1327D uses SAE 20 oil; 1327DH handles phosphate ester or glycol-based hydraulic fluids; and 1327DO operates with distilled water (sodium molybdate and phosphoric acid additives recommended) for oxygen service gauge calibration. O-ring seals are Buna-N for standard/water versions and ethylene propylene for the DH version.
The complete system includes a metal carrying case, all necessary connection pipes, 1/4 and 1/2 NPT female adapters, wrenches, pointer puller set, spare O-ring kit, and manual. Optional NIST traceability documentation is available for each gauge upon request with CD-4 certification.
