The Kobold DKB flow indicator is ideal for use in either air or fluid flow applications. The absence of wear components assures high reliability in installations unsuitable for indicators using bearings with a rotating wheel or turbine. The maximum temperature for the DKB is 250°F and the maximum pressure is 85 psig .

The Kobold DKB flow indicator is easily seen from elevated positions and the domed sight glass allows for full 360° visibility from above. The bright float is easily seen even at long distance. The indicator operates on a simple principle where flow lifts a float in a tapered bore, providing direct visual indication of flow presence and approximate rate .

The DKB is available in 6 sizes, up to 1" NPT, with either a Delrin ball and EPDM seals for general purpose applications, or with a Teflon ball and Viton seals for more corrosive environments. The brass housing provides durability and corrosion resistance for most industrial applications .

Common applications include cooling water lines, lubrication systems, and general process monitoring where reliable visual flow indication is required without the complexity of electronic sensors .
