The PVC-constructed King Instrument 7720 series rotameter utilizes a float and tapered tube design. As a result, the series 7720 rotameters have longer and more linear scales, better pointer stability, and 40% greater accuracy than competitively priced products. In addition, the PVC and Hastelloy C-276 construction makes the King Instrument 7720 series rotameter resistant to many industrial chemicals.

Flow ranges cover 33 GPH to 450 GPM for water depending on size. The 120mm direct reading detachable scale provides ±3% full scale accuracy with 10:1 to 12.5:1 turndown and 1% repeatability. Maximum temperature is 130°F (54°C) with maximum pressure of 150 psig for sizes 4 & 6 and 125 psig for sizes 8, 9, 11, 12. Ambient temperature range is 33 to 125°F (1 to 52°C).

Options available include additional O-ring materials for chemical compatibility or higher temperatures, 4-20mA transmitter, and one or two alarms. Applications include low-cost flow measurement and a wide range of industrial chemicals.
