The COSA Xentaur LPDT is the world's smallest loop-powered (2-wire) dew point transmitter with a display . The compact LPDT is a fully functional instrument operated through a miniature custom LCD display and three push buttons, using the same user-friendly interface of all COSA Xentaur hygrometers. The analog output is linear to the engineering units selected for display and is user-configurable.

The LPDT uses a Xentaur HTF™ aluminum oxide sensor, representing advances in thin film and metal oxide sciences with significant performance advantages over other aluminum oxide sensors. The hyper-thin, highly hygroscopic aluminum oxide layer provides a capacitance change several orders of magnitude larger than conventional sensors, resulting in better sensitivity, better repeatability, faster response times, and reduced noise and drift .

The instrument is available with two sensor options: XTR-100 covering -100 to 20°C or XTR-65 covering -65 to 20°C. A weatherproof cap is available for outdoor NEMA 4X/IP65 applications. The stainless steel enclosure has a standard pressure rating of 500 PSI (34 bar), with optional 5,000 PSI (340 bar) capability. The LPDT can be operated with a wall transformer, DC power supply, or integrated into control systems.
