The Michell Instruments VDS-3 is a sophisticated computer-controlled dew point generator that operates across an extensive range of -148 to 68°F (-100 to 20°C). Individual three-stage mass flow controllers select precise proportions of wet and pre-mixed air, while humidity injection is achieved through a liquid mass flow controller and controlled evaporation system, providing repeatable and flexible control of generated dew points.

The Vapor Delivery System (VDS) can be programmed with up to 13 presets that can be activated either manually or as part of an automatic calibration program, enabling efficient, unattended calibration sequences. The system delivers exceptional output stability of ±0.5°C (±0.9°F), ensuring consistent and reliable reference conditions for calibration applications.

The generator requires a gas supply of 30 Nl/min (63.6 scfh) at 4.8 barg (70 psig) and provides an output of 10 Nl/min (21.2 scfh) at 0.5 barg (7.3 psig). The 1-liter ABS water reservoir supplies the controlled evaporation system. Fully automated remote control capability allows integration into larger calibration systems or operation from remote locations.
