The KROHNE H250-RR sets a new standard in variable area flow meter technology. Combining a rugged, all-metal design with numerous display, communication and other options, the H250-RR is a reliable and versatile instrument ideal for measuring the flow of conductive and non-conducting liquids and gases in difficult applications and extreme environmental conditions.

The H250-RR is available in sizes from 1/2" to 4" with corresponding flow rates ranging from as low as 0.47 gph (0.002 scfm for gases) to as high 26,418 gph (1736 scfm). The basic accuracy for flow readings is an excellent ±1.6%. Due to its sturdy, all-metal construction, the H250-RR ensures high resistance to pressure, temperature and media. The modular design of the meter and indicator allows users to adapt the H250-RR to customer-specific applications including those in hazardous areas.

The meter operates on the float principle, with float position transmitted by a magnetic coupling system to the scale. Two indicator options are available. The M9 indicator offers simple, low-cost installation without auxiliary power, large scale readability, 2 limit switches (NAMUR or 3-wire transistor), 2-wire analog output 4 to 20mA with HART - Profibus PA interface, and optional 6-digit flow counter. The M10 digital indicator features 2 limit switches, 2-wire analog output 4 to 20mA with HART, and 12-digit flow counter with reset input. Both are available with ATEX, FM, CSA approvals and SIL2 certification.
