The Additel ADT 946A is a benchtop hydraulic pressure test pump engineered to generate pressures up to 15,000 psi (1,000 bar) for calibrating pressure gauges, transmitters, transducers, and other pressure measuring instruments.

The pump incorporates a dual-piston system: a hand pump for rapidly filling large-volume systems, and a high-pressure fine adjust screw press for smooth pressure increase and decrease. An isolation valve separates the calibration volume from the hand pump check valve, providing more stable measurements and significantly reducing maintenance requirements since check valves are common sources of leaks.

Three hand-tight quick connectors allow easy connection and disconnection of test and reference devices without PTFE tape or wrenches. The 420 ml reservoir uses mineral oil as standard media; a deionized water version (ADT946AW) is available by request. Fine adjust piston volume is 1.5 ml.

Construction materials include stainless steel ram and adapters, with body materials of stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. Seals are Buna-N. Multiple port options are available including 1/4 NPT, 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, 1/2 BSP, and M20×1.5 female.

Dimensions are 200 × 460 × 365 mm, weight is 13 kg (28.7 lb). Each unit includes a 250 ml bottle of mineral oil and 20 replacement O-rings. Optional accessories include adapter kits, hose test kits, and a carrying case (SET models). The pump is backed by a 1-year warranty.

Applications include calibration laboratories, industrial plants, and field service environments requiring precise high-pressure calibration.
