The Badger Meter Recordall® Compound Series meters combine two metering technologies in one innovative package. A positive displacement chamber measures low flow, while a turbine chamber records high flow. These meters are an ideal choice for facilities that experience rapid and wide fluctuations in water demand, such as hospitals, universities, residential complexes and manufacturing or processing facilities .

The patented design eliminates the need for a trigger valve and maintains high crossover accuracy. At low flow rates, water diverts up through a bypass to the disc chamber. As the flow rate increases, a pressure differential opens the main valve, allowing water to flow straight through the turbine chamber. Rotor and disc movements are transmitted by magnetic drive couplings to individual register odometers, providing positive, reliable coupling .

The meter is available in cast bronze or a lead-free alloy and complies with NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Annex G. It meets or exceeds AWWA Standard C702 accuracy requirements. The sealed, multi-position register features straight-reading odometer-type totalization and a 360° test circle with flow finder for leak detection. All register options are removable without disrupting water service. Companion flanges for various pipe types are available in cast iron or bronze .
