The Ametek Jofra RTC-158 and RTC-250 are advanced reference temperature calibrators that combine dry-block and liquid bath technology. They are designed to calibrate oddly sized and shaped sensors or multiple sensors at once. The RTC-158 has a temperature range of -22° to 155°C, while the RTC-250 ranges from 28° to 250°C . Both units feature a 160mm deep well with a diameter of 63.5mm, which is twice the size of any other dry-block calibrator, allowing them to be used either as a dry-block or as a liquid calibration bath with a magnetic stirrer .

Outstanding accuracy and stability are achieved with Ametek's Dynamic Load Compensation (DLC) system, which provides perfect temperature uniformity in the insert regardless of the number or size of sensors immersed . The RTC-158 achieves ±0.04°C accuracy with an external reference sensor, while the RTC-250 achieves ±0.07°C. The calibrators also offer intelligent STS sensors for plug-and-play connectivity, an easy-to-read full-color 5.7-inch VGA display, and a USB connection for improved communications and software downloads .

The RTC-158 and RTC-250 are available in three configurations: RTC-A (basic), RTC-B (with input for reference sensor, DLC sensor and sensors-under-test), and RTC-C (with input for reference sensor and DLC sensor). The STS-200 and DLC sensors contain all individual calibration data, allowing users to change the reference sensor and be up and running immediately .
