Product Description

The Fluke 9132/9133 portable infrared calibrators provide stable blackbody targets for certifying non-contact infrared thermometers across a temperature range of -30°C to 500°C. The Model 9132 covers high-temperature applications from 50°C to 500°C, while the Model 9133 utilizes solid-state cooling technology to reach -30°C for low-temperature calibration needs.

Both models feature a 57 mm (2.25 inch) temperature-controlled blackbody target with emissivity fixed at 0.95 (±0.02 from 8 to 14 µm). The target temperature can be set in 0.1° increments. A high-precision RTD reference well is located directly behind the blackbody surface, enabling contact verification and ensuring traceable accuracy.

The 9132 achieves ±0.5°C accuracy at 100°C and ±0.8°C at 500°C with stability of ±0.1°C and ±0.3°C respectively. Heating time from ambient to 500°C is 30 minutes. The 9133 delivers ±0.4°C accuracy across its range with ±0.1°C stability, reaching -30°C from ambient in just 15 minutes. A dry gas fitting on the front bezel prevents ice buildup on the target during low-temperature operation.

Both units include RS-232 interface with 9930 Interface-it software for data logging and remote control. The compact, lightweight design makes them ideal for field calibration work: the 9132 weighs only 1.8 kg (4 lb), while the 9133 weighs 4.6 kg (10 lb) . NIST-traceable contact calibration data is provided at multiple temperature points for each model.
