The Ashcroft C-600A-01 Duratemp is a remote-mounted gas-actuated thermometer engineered for applications where vibration and extreme temperatures would compromise bimetal instruments. Its movementless design contains no moving parts, eliminating wear and ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments such as offshore rigs, chemical plants, and power generation facilities.

The 4.5-inch stainless steel case with bayonet ring provides impact resistance and corrosion protection. The Maxivision dial places the pointer on the same plane as the graduations, eliminating parallax error for accurate readings from any angle. Because the system is gas-actuated, there is no head or elevation error, making remote installation via capillary simple and accurate.

Typically used with a thermowell, the C-600A-01 handles both high and low temperatures, and is suitable for a broad range of industries including petrochemical, water/wastewater, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, and food processing.
