The E+E EE576 is a compact air velocity transmitter specifically engineered for accurate measurement of very low air velocities. Utilizing E+E's proven hot-film sensor technology—tested extensively in automotive applications—the EE576 offers excellent long-term stability and reproducibility with reduced sensitivity to dust and contamination compared to conventional hot-wire elements.

The transmitter is factory calibrated using a specialized low-velocity wind tunnel, ensuring optimal precision and maximum sensitivity in its operating ranges: 0 to 200 ft/min (0 to 1 m/s) or 0 to 400 ft/min (0 to 2 m/s). A linear analog output (0-5 V or 0-10 V) provides seamless integration with control systems.

Installation is fast and straightforward. An alignment strip along the probe tube, combined with a matching mounting flange, ensures correct sensor orientation. The flange allows infinite adjustment of probe insertion depth, accommodating various duct and enclosure configurations. The electronics are integrated directly into the probe tube, minimizing external components.
