Its upgraded articulation system is built around high-power steering motors, delivering a 42% increase in articulation range and 16% reduction in friction. This design provides ultra-responsive steering over the full service life of the probe, allowing technicians to effortlessly navigate complex inspection paths, and freeing up more time for capturing and analyzing defects.

The Everest Mentor Flex features a 5.8-inch wide WXGA LCD touchscreen display with TrueSight image clarity, for sharper visuals and more accurate defect assessment. Its intuitive user interface includes a virtual keyboard for fast annotation, and a multi-point touchscreen with pinch-to-zoom, swipe-and-pan gesture controls. The Menu Directed Inspection (MDI) function boosts inspection efficiency with auto-image smart tagging, automatic report generation, customizable user profiles, and an embedded help menu. InspectionWorks Connect enables wireless video streaming and file transfer to iOS devices via dual-band Wi-Fi.

The unit’s dark boost feature analyzes scene content and intelligently adjusts brightness levels to digitally enhance dark areas without overexposing or degrading contrast in uniform regions. Its distortion correction function automatically flattens image edges, enabling wide field-of-view optics without measurement inaccuracies. Combined with optimized color saturation, these features deliver high-fidelity images that reveal fine textures, as well as flaws and defects that were previously undetectable.

Built with a military-grade magnesium housing (MIL-STD certified) and third-party tested to withstand harsh industrial workplace conditions, the Everest Mentor Flex delivers consistent top performance even in the most demanding environments.
