The Rotronic HygroLab is a high-precision 4-channel water activity analyzer designed for quality control laboratories in the pharmaceutical, food, and tobacco industries. It accommodates up to four HC2-AW or HC2A-S probes simultaneously, enabling parallel or sequential measurement of multiple samples.

The instrument is operated via a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with an intuitive interface. It offers two measurement modes: the accelerated Aw Quick mode delivers results in 4-5 minutes, while the conventional full-equilibration mode ensures maximum accuracy with user‑definable stability criteria. With HC2-AW probes, the system achieves ±0.008 aw accuracy at 23°C.

Built-in Ethernet and four USB ports provide flexible connectivity; an optional WiFi stick enables wireless integration. The integrated web server allows remote monitoring and control from any PC or tablet using a standard browser. Measurement reports are automatically generated and can be shared via email or downloaded. Firmware updates are delivered directly over the internet.

The HygroLab is supplied complete with an HC2-AW probe, sample cups (14 mm and 40 mm), calibration standards, and power adapter, ready for immediate use.
