The Setra SRIMV is a multifunction non‑BACnet velocity sensor designed for comprehensive monitoring of critical environments such as clean rooms, hospital isolation rooms, and laboratories. It measures velocity, flow, differential pressure, temperature, and humidity—all in a single device—simplifying installation and reducing panel space requirements.

The sensor automatically calculates velocity and volumetric flow rates from differential pressure using a single‑point Pitot tube or averaging probe, eliminating manual square root calculations. Air density correction can be set to standard conditions or derived from an external temperature sensor input for enhanced accuracy.

A key feature of the SRIMV is its removable sensor module, which allows the user to disconnect the sensing element without disturbing wiring or plumbing, attach it to a Setra calibration fixture, and complete calibration in minutes—minimizing downtime and service costs.

The 3‑color backlit LCD provides clear status indication and intuitive menu navigation. Configurable audible and visual alarms can be set for velocity, flow, pressure, temperature, humidity, and even door contact input, ensuring immediate awareness of out‑of‑tolerance conditions. Field‑selectable analog outputs (4‑20 mA, 0‑5 VDC, or 0‑10 VDC) provide flexibility for integration with building management systems.
