The Ashcroft EL Series bimetal thermometers feature silicone liquid filling for enhanced performance in vibrating industrial environments. The liquid medium dampens pointer flutter caused by vibration or pulsation, prolonging instrument life while also improving readability by "floating" the pointer for a clearer view.

The hermetically sealed, all-welded stainless steel case prevents moisture entry, interior corrosion, and coil freeze-up, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh conditions. A durable polycarbonate window provides excellent impact resistance compared to glass.

The Maxivision® dial eliminates parallax error by placing the pointer on the same plane as the graduations, enabling accurate readings from any angle. External zero reset allows adjustment from outside the case without compromising the hermetic seal. Silicone coil dampening (rated up to 400°F) further improves response and stability.

Available in 3-inch rear connection, 5-inch rear, and 5-inch Everyangle™ configurations, the EL Series fits a wide range of installation requirements. With ±1% full span accuracy and IP65 protection, it is suitable for industrial process, HVAC, and machinery applications.
