The Extech SDL310 is a versatile vane thermo-anemometer with integrated data logging capabilities. It records air velocity and temperature measurements directly to an SD card in Excel format with date and time stamps, eliminating the need for manual transcription and enabling easy PC-based analysis. For quick spot checks, up to 99 readings can be stored and recalled manually.

A low-friction ball bearing vane wheel on a 39-inch cable delivers ±2% velocity accuracy, while the large 9999-count LCD simultaneously displays air velocity and temperature for clear field viewing. The adjustable sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds accommodates both short-term spot checks and long-term trend monitoring. An additional Type K/J thermocouple input expands the instrument's utility for high-temperature applications.

Field-friendly features include Min/Max recall, Data Hold, and a disableable auto power off function. The built-in RS-232 interface allows real-time data transfer to a PC when connected.
