Product Description
The Dwyer ANE-1 Differential Pressure Anemometer is a robust, bidirectional pitot-style sensor designed for accurate air velocity measurement in HVAC, laboratory, and industrial applications. With no moving parts or internal electronics, it offers exceptional durability and reliability, making it ideal for clean air environments where dust-free operation is maintained.
The ANE-1 connects easily to any manometer or differential pressure sensing device using the included silicone tubing. Its performance is directly dependent on the accuracy of the connected instrument—retaining full manometer accuracy as long as the sensor remains dust-free. This versatility allows users to pair the ANE-1 with their preferred pressure measurement device for customized airflow monitoring.
Constructed from high-quality ABS plastic with a convenient phenolic handle, the ANE-1 is lightweight yet rugged. It comes complete with 5 feet each of blue and red silicone tubing (2 mm ID x 4.5 mm OD), plus a removable adapter (2 mm OD to 3/16" OD) and two additional 5-inch clear silicone tubes (3/16" ID x 3/8" OD) for flexible process connections. The K-factor of 0.843 ensures consistent performance across applications.
Typical applications include:
- HVAC system balancing and troubleshooting
- Cleanroom airflow verification
- Laboratory fume hood face velocity measurement
- Industrial exhaust and supply air monitoring
